Hosting and server log files
The website and our email inbox are operated on our behalf by an IT service provider (processing on behalf of the controller under Art. 28 GDPR). The website runs on a server in Germany, the inbox in data centres in the EU. To deliver a page, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested and the amount of data transferred. The IP address is not stored: the server logs contain only date, time, the address requested, status code, amount of data and, where applicable, error messages, and cannot be linked to any person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact and enquiry forms
You can send us enquiries using the forms on this website (contact, private hire, event enquiry, cocktail class). We process the details you enter, depending on the form your name, email address, phone number, company, occasion, number of guests, preferred date, location, requested services, budget range and your message. The details are sent by email to our team inbox and stored there so that we can answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. You automatically receive a confirmation of receipt at the email address you provide.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply; if a contract is concluded, the commercial and tax retention periods of up to ten years apply.
To protect against automated abuse, when you submit a form we check a form field that is invisible to people, the time since the page was opened and the number of enquiries per IP address within a short period. For this purpose the IP address is briefly stored on the server in encrypted form (hash) and discarded after 15 minutes at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our inbox from spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Display of booked dates
In the enquiry form for hiring the whole bar, a calendar shows which evenings are already booked. To do this, your browser fetches a list of dates from our server. No personal data is transmitted in the process.
Cookies, tracking, fonts
This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services. Fonts are loaded from our own server; no connections are made to font providers. A cookie notice is therefore not required.
Reviews from Google
On the home page we show reviews from our Google Business Profile (overall rating, number of reviews and individual reviews with the name the authors use on Google). Our server fetches this information from Google when the website is built and stores it with the page. Visiting our website does not open a connection to Google. Only a click on a link to Google Maps takes you to Google's service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in giving guests an impression of our bar (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Links to other providers
Links to map services (directions), social networks and external ticket shops only open those services after you click. From then on, the respective provider's privacy notice applies.
Recipients
Your data is only received by the people in our team who handle your enquiry and, as processors, by our IT service provider (operation of the website and inbox, servers in the EU). Data is not transferred to countries outside the EU unless stated above.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, write to us at info@nullsechsacht.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.
No automated decision-making
We do not make automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR and do not create profiles.
